Move-in and move-out permits
Book lifts, loading bays and a permit before moving furniture in or out.
Every MAK Homes community needs a move permit to protect lifts, corridors and other residents.
How to apply
- Apply through the tenant portal, by chat, or at the management office at least 3 working days before your move.
- Include the moving company name, the vehicle plate number and your preferred time slot.
- Move-in permits are free. Move-out permits are issued once your final rent is settled and your DEWA final bill is requested.

Moves are not allowed on Fridays or public holidays.
Refundable damage deposit
The moving company pays a refundable damage deposit of AED 1,000 (Marina Heights and Downtown Lofts only). It is returned after the lift and corridor inspection.
