Moving-out checklist
Everything you need to do for a smooth move-out and a full deposit refund.
- Give notice: tell us at least 60 days before your lease ends that you won't be renewing.
- Book the move-out inspection: we'll do a pre-inspection 2 weeks before the end date and a final inspection on the day.
- Reserve the elevator at least 3 business days in advance.
- Schedule final meter readings for electricity (and gas, if applicable) and send us the final bill confirmation.
- Repair and clean: fill any nail holes, repaint if the walls aren't the original color, and have the home cleaned professionally.
- Return keys, key fobs, parking tags and remote controls.
- Give us your forwarding address and bank details for the deposit refund.
