Ending your lease early

Standard MAK Homes leases allow early termination with:

• 60 days' written notice, and
• an early-termination fee equal to 2 months' rent, based on your current monthly rent

How it works

1. Send written notice to [email protected] or ask for early termination in chat.
2. Rent is due until the termination date, and autopay is stopped after your final payment.
3. Book your move-out inspection and elevator reservation.

Exceptions

If you must relocate more than 50 miles for a new job, or you're called to active military duty, we may lower the fee to 1 month's rent. We need proof, such as an offer letter or orders. Please ask to speak to our Tenant Care team.
